Another mysterious book sculpture “in support of libraries, books, words, ideas & festivals” appears at Edinburgh Book Festival.
“The first sculpture is of a tray with a cup of tea and a cupcake and is inscribed: “This cup is awarded to @edbookfest” and also contains a tea bag full of letters, an unmarked book and a label which says - “This is for you in support of libraries, books, words, ideas and festivals xx.”
Sunday arts and crafts. This is my first attempt at paper craft and I can’t really seem to take a decent photo. I need to figure out what to do in the background, and the gramophone is too wide. But it’s fun.

Upcycled Dress | How Joyful
As I’ve said before, I’ve finally come to the sad conclusion that skirts are about as good as I’m going to get with my sewing! So I was excited to see this dress tutorial because it’s basically a skirt attached to a tshirt. I’m not big on the old ‘showing my arms’ deal so I will use a short sleeved tshirt. I like that you can use any combination - a printed tshirt with a plain skirt or vice versa.
